37:5 约瑟作了一梦，告诉他哥哥们，他们就越发恨他。
Joseph had a dream, and when he told it to his brothers, they hated him all the more.
37:6 约瑟对他们说：“请听我所作的梦：
He said to them, "Listen to this dream I had:
37:7 我们在田里捆禾稼，我的捆起来站着，你们的捆来围着我的捆下拜。”
We were binding sheaves of grain out in the field when suddenly my sheaf rose and stood upright, while your sheaves gathered around mine and bowed down to it."
37:8 他的哥哥们回答说：“难道你真要作我们的王吗？难道你真要管辖我们吗？”他们就因为他的梦和他的话，越发恨他。
His brothers said to him, "Do you intend to reign over us? Will you actually rule us?" And they hated him all the more because of his dream and what he had said.
37:9 后来他又作了一梦，也告诉他的哥哥们说：“看哪，我又作了一梦，梦见太阳、月亮与十一个星向我下拜。”
Then he had another dream, and he told it to his brothers. "Listen," he said, "I had another dream, and this time the sun and moon and eleven stars were bowing down to me."
2）以敬虔的心朔造品德

39:6 波提乏将一切所有的都交在约瑟的手中，除了自己所吃的饭，别的事一概不知。约瑟原来秀雅俊美。
So he left in Joseph's care everything he had; with Joseph in charge, he did not concern himself with anything except the food he ate. Now Joseph was well-built and handsome,
39:7 这事以后，约瑟主人的妻，以目送情给约瑟，说：“你与我同寝吧！”
and after a while his master's wife took notice of Joseph and said, "Come to bed with me!"
39:8 约瑟不从，对他主人的妻说：“看哪，一切家务，我主人都不知道，他把所有的都交在我手里。
But he refused. "With me in charge," he told her, "my master does not concern himself with anything in the house; everything he owns he has entrusted to my care.
39:9 在这家里没有比我大的，并且他没有留下一样不交给我，只留下了你，因为你是他的妻子。我怎能作这大恶，得罪 神呢？”
No one is greater in this house than I am. My master has withheld nothing from me except you, because you are his wife. How then could I do such a wicked thing and sin against God?"
39:10 后来她天天和约瑟说，约瑟却不听从她，不与她同寝，也不和她在一处。
And though she spoke to Joseph day after day, he refused to go to bed with her or even be with her.
3）以積極的心迎向挫敗

39:4 约瑟就在主人眼前蒙恩，伺候他主人，并且主人派他管理家务，把一切所有的都交在他手里。
Joseph found favor in his eyes and became his attendant. Potiphar put him in charge of his household, and he entrusted to his care everything he owned.
39:22 司狱就把监里所有的囚犯都交在约瑟的手下，他们在那里所办的事都是经他的手。
So the warden put Joseph in charge of all those held in the prison, and he was made responsible for all that was done there.
4）以寬闊的心饒恕仇敵

45:1 约瑟在左右站着的人面前情不自禁，吩咐一声说：“人都要离开我出去！”约瑟和弟兄们相认的时候，并没有一人站在他面前。
Then Joseph could no longer control himself before all his attendants, and he cried out, "Have everyone leave my presence!" So there was no one with Joseph when he made himself known to his brothers.
45:2 他就放声大哭，埃及人和法老家中的人都听见了。
And he wept so loudly that the Egyptians heard him, and Pharaoh's household heard about it.
45:3 约瑟对他弟兄们说：“我是约瑟，我的父亲还在吗？”他弟兄不能回答，因为在他面前都惊惶。
Joseph said to his brothers, "I am Joseph! Is my father still living?" But his brothers were not able to answer him, because they were terrified at his presence.
45:4 约瑟又对他弟兄们说：“请你们近前来。”他们就近前来，他说：“我是你们的兄弟约瑟，就是你们所卖到埃及的。
Then Joseph said to his brothers, "Come close to me." When they had done so, he said, "I am your brother Joseph, the one you sold into Egypt!
45:5 现在不要因为把我卖到这里自忧自恨，这是 神差我在你们以先来，为要保全生命。
And now, do not be distressed and do not be angry with yourselves for selling me here, because it was to save lives that God sent me ahead of you.
50:15 约瑟的哥哥们见父亲死了，就说：“或者约瑟怀恨我们，照着我们从前待他一切的恶，足足地报复我们。”
When Joseph's brothers saw that their father was dead, they said, "What if Joseph holds a grudge against us and pays us back for all the wrongs we did to him?"
50:16 他们就打发人去见约瑟，说：“你父亲未死以先吩咐说：
So they sent word to Joseph, saying, "Your father left these instructions before he died:
50:17 ‘你们要对约瑟这样说：从前你哥哥们恶待你，求你饶恕他们的过犯和罪恶。’如今求你饶恕你父亲 神之仆人的过犯。”他们对约瑟说这话，约瑟就哭了。
'This is what you are to say to Joseph: I ask you to forgive your brothers the sins and the wrongs they committed in treating you so badly.' Now please forgive the sins of the servants of the God of your father." When their message came to him, Joseph wept.
50:18 他的哥哥们又来俯伏在他面前，说：“我们是你的仆人。”
His brothers then came and threw themselves down before him. "We are your slaves," they said.
50:19 约瑟对他们说：「不要害怕，我豈能代替 神呢？
But Joseph said to them, "Don't be afraid. Am I in the place of God?
50:20 从前你们的意思是要害我，但 神的意思原是好的，要保全许多人的性命，成就今日的光景。
You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives.
50:21 现在你们不要害怕，我必养活你们和你们的妇人孩子。”于是约瑟用亲爱的话安慰他们。
So then, don't be afraid. I will provide for you and your children." And he reassured them and spoke kindly to them.

39:2 约瑟住在他主人埃及人的家中，耶和华与他同在，他就百事顺利。
The Lord was with Joseph and he prospered, and he lived in the house of his Egyptian master.
39:21 但耶和华与约瑟同在，向他施恩，使他在司狱的眼前蒙恩。
the Lord was with him; he showed him kindness and granted him favor in the eyes of the prison warden.
「約瑟活在恩典中」
羅馬書
6:14 罪必不能作你们的主，因你们不在律法之下，乃在恩典之下。
For sin shall not be your master, because you are not under law, but under grace.
